SAR 308 series is a 100 percent locally produced and modernized version of the legendary AK-47 platform.

SAR 308 Version 2, stands out as a much lighter infantry rifle, while it displays a modern appearance with its high-strength polymer magazine reinforced with steel parts, butt and stock. SAR 308 Version 2, which exhibits a superior performance in all climatic conditions, offers single and serial shot options together. SAR 308 Version 2, like the first version, provides the user with the advantage of comfortable carrying with its folding telescopic butt stock option as well as the fixed stock. With a 7.62x39mm caliber, this legendary assault rifle offers 650 rounds per minute and a muzzle velocity of 680m/s while it operates with a gas piston-driven system.
